When Should I Sign up for Classes or Schedule Bodywork?
All of Emerge’s offerings weave together to form the foundational knowledge & body preparation you want and need to feel confident, empowered and ready to meet your pregnancy, birth and baby…and yourself. You may be wondering which classes are the right ones for you? When should I take them? When should I schedule bodywork sessions?
Here’s a quick breakdown of suggestions on when to begin with links to more information. Private sessions are available for all childbirth classes yearlong and are thoughtfully customized to your wishes and needs.
Weekly Prenatal Yoga and/or Prenatal Strength Series
Start as early as you feel comfortable joining and take throughout your pregnancy.

Empowered Childbirth Education
Ideal during 2nd trimester, welcome during any stage of pregnancy. A two-part class consisting of 6.5 hours.
Offered every 3 months. Available in-person and via Zoom. Learn More.
Moving, Breathing, Birth Workshop
Perfect during the 3rd trimester, 2nd trimester works too! One time, two-hour workshop.

Preparing Your Pelvic Floor for Birth Workshop
Spinning Babies® Parent Class
Ideal during the 2nd or 3rd trimester.
One time, two-hour workshop.
Offered every three months. Available in-person or via zoom. Learn More.

One time, three-hour workshop.
Offered every 4 months. Available in-person. Learn More.
Somatic Bodywork and skilled therapeutic massage techniques adapted to every stage of your pregnancy.
90 minute and 2 hour options offered including appointments for breech presentation, before an ECV, cesarean birth prep, and pelvic floor and pelvic pain support.
Offered during 1st, 2nd and 3rd trimester.

Move & Breathe w/ Baby Weekly Postnatal Class
Join when baby is 6 weeks - scooting and early crawling.
Mondays 10:30 - 11:30am

Restore Your Core After Birth
6 weeks & beyond postpartum up to 10 years after birth. Offered as a series, or workshop a few times a year.

Co-Regulate w/ Baby
6 weeks postpartum and onward. Somatic skills and nervous system regulation techniques to help you better understand and meet yourself and your baby. Learn during pregnancy or after your birth.
45 min, 60 min or 90 min. sessions. CoRegulate with Baby & Bodywork Combo also offered in a 2 hr. session.

Prenatal Bodywork / Massage
Postpartum Bodywork / Massage
Immediate postpartum support within the first week and throughout any stage in the years after birth.
90 minute and 2 hour sessions offered including a focus on somatic birth processing, co-regulating with baby, pelvic floor and pelvic pain support.
At home sessions offered during the first 4 weeks postpartum (mileage fee added). Office location in Montpelier. Learn More.
